Student Led Conference Slated for January 14th

Students to present on campus; livestream also planned
by Jenny Corke

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, Phillips Academy will host a TEDxYouth conference on campus. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Tang Theater, with a reception to follow immediately in Steinbach lobby.

What is our generation’s mission statement?

Led by Tanvi Kanchinadam ‘19 and organized by a student planning committee, the conference will feature talks and presentations by Andover students. The Andover student body will bring ideas, inspiration, and energy to the TEDx stage.

This year, the conference theme is “What is our generation’s mission statement?” Like all TEDx themes, this broad, overarching prompt is intended to spark a diverse array of speaker topics. Student speakers will share their unique, thought-provoking, fun, and inspiring ideas! See below for a full list of conference participants.

Join In!

Advance registration is required through Eventbrite. The event will also be livestreamed, with a viewing party taking place in the Mural Room. If you have any questions about the event, please don’t hesitate to contact the Tang Institute at [email protected]. Please also share your photos, ideas, and insights! #TEDxPAAndover
